LHINOS is developing the Cyber Resilience Lab as an independent research initiative for Human-AI Cyber Decision Intelligence. AEGIS remains the controlled Research & Engineering testbed; Cyber Commander is the emerging enterprise product.
Why a Cyber Resilience Lab?
Security tools produce alerts, telemetry and technical evidence. The harder question starts afterwards: what does the event mean for the organization? Which facts are established, which conclusions are only probable, what remains unknown — and who is authorized to decide the next action?
LAB = Research · AEGIS = Testbed · CYBER COMMANDER = Product
The public LHINOS Cyber Resilience Lab is for research, experiments, Founding Fellows and Research Notes. AEGIS is the controlled Research & Engineering testbed name. LHINOS Cyber Commander remains the emerging commercial product for enterprises, institutions and the public sector.
Founding Fellows 2026
The Lab invites selected cybersecurity specialists to challenge the architecture, assumptions and research questions. Participation is voluntary, bounded and research-based. It is not unpaid operational work, an on-call obligation or responsibility for production infrastructure.
Six research tracks
The current research frame covers Human-AI Cyber Decision Intelligence, Incident Reasoning & Evidence, AI Agent Security, Cyber Authority & Governance, Resilience & Organizational Learning, and Human Factors & Social Engineering.
Shadow first
The current approach runs in controlled Shadow Mode. LHINOS does not replace SIEM, EDR, firewalls, scanners or SOC teams and does not execute autonomous cyber actions. Facts, assumptions and unknowns remain clearly separated.
Capability ≠ Authority. Facts ≠ Inferences. Unknown remains Unknown.
Research Integrity
Negative findings are valid findings. The Lab is not designed to prove a predetermined product idea correct. It is designed to reveal where assumptions hold, where they break, and what governance is required before real-world pilots.
