We research what strengthens Human Intelligence in practice.
The LHINOS Research Lab combines research, field observation and responsible technology development. AI Lab, Animal Lab and Cyber Resilience Lab test ideas before they scale — with clear hypotheses, traceable methods and the human as final authority.
Why we research.
Because systems that affect people, organizations or animals should do more than sound convincing. They should be understandable, responsible and – where possible – testable. Research helps separate effect from assertion and makes limits visible early.
We test assumptions, document outcomes and clearly distinguish hypothesis, observation and stronger evidence.
Technology may analyze, structure and support. Judgment, responsibility and approval remain human.
In human–animal research, welfare, non-invasive observation and responsible practice come first.
AI that strengthens human judgment rather than replacing it.
The AI Lab studies how artificial intelligence can operate as a Human-Intelligence Layer for orientation, search, translation, reflection, governance and controlled agent systems.
Which tasks can AI usefully perform – and where must a human decision remain mandatory?
How can agent systems use fixed roles, Human Gates, traceable approvals and bounded real-world effects?
How can search and translation condense information without losing meaning, context and uncertainty?
How do we measure utility, error risk, transparency and actual improvement over simpler alternatives?

ANIMAL
Understanding human–animal interaction more deeply.
The Animal Lab studies how observation, Human Intelligence and responsibly used technology can support work with animals. The initial focus is non-invasive coaching and training contexts with dogs and horses.
Which observable signals help people interpret behavior, attention, stress and readiness to learn more accurately?
How do clearer human perception, timing and feedback affect the quality of training and guidance?
Where can structured documentation, video analysis or AI reveal patterns without replacing trainers, veterinarians or animal-behavior professionals?
Research is designed so animal welfare, non-invasive methods and appropriate professional responsibility take priority.
Make Cyber Resilience decision-ready.
The Cyber Resilience Lab studies Human-AI Cyber Decision Intelligence. AEGIS is the controlled research and engineering testbed; Founding Fellows challenge assumptions, threat models and governance before they become Cyber Commander product claims.
Confirmed facts, inferences and unknowns remain separate and traceable.
Impact, reversibility, responsibility and Human Gates become part of the situation model.
Agent Identity, Tool Access, Action Limits and Approval Boundaries are treated as research questions.
Practitioners, researchers and students can challenge assumptions and architecture through bounded Research Challenges.

AUTHORITY
How to participate in the Research Lab.
The Research Lab is not an open community forum. We work deliberately with partners who can contribute scientific, social or exceptional specialist substance.
Joint studies, theses, methodological evaluation and academic collaboration.
Field projects, social impact, access to relevant communities and independent perspectives.
Pilots, validation, replication, methods development and joint research programs.
Individuals with demonstrable exceptional expertise – for example through research, publications, books, films, patents or long-term documented practice.
Does your research field fit AI Lab, Animal Lab, Cyber Resilience Lab or a cross-cutting Human Intelligence question?
Describe the research question, expertise, institution/background and the contribution you can bring.
LHINOS reviews relevance, quality, governance, ethics and the potential collaboration model.
If there is a strong fit, you may receive access to the protected research collaboration space.
The protected space for serious research collaboration.
The Research Deal Room brings together research questions, project briefs, methods, evidence status, collaboration proposals and – where agreed – data or pilot artifacts. Access is granted only after review.
