LHINOS Research Lab

LHINOS Cyber Resilience Lab

Human Intelligence, evidence and authority for AI-assisted cyber resilience and decision-making.

Review mode: asynchronous written research review first; no phone or video meeting is required for initial participation.

Research baseline

Cyber Resilience Lab

Independent research initiative focused on Human Intelligence for Cyber Resilience.

AEGIS

Research and engineering testbed used to examine evidence, agentic reasoning, control and human authority boundaries.

Cyber Commander

Decision-intelligence and orchestration layer concept; it does not replace SIEM, EDR, XDR, identity or cloud-security systems.

Decision cycle

Detect → Understand → Prioritize → Decide → Act → Learn

The research question is how AI can improve the quality, speed and traceability of this cycle without silently expanding execution authority.

Governance hypotheses under review

Requested written response

  1. Where can the proposed human-authority model fail in realistic cyber operations?
  2. Which evidence and provenance requirements are necessary before a cyber decision should be trusted?
  3. Which agentic-security, confidentiality, adversarial or human-factor failure modes are missing?
  4. Which parts of the Detect → Understand → Prioritize → Decide → Act → Learn cycle should remain human-gated?
  5. What experiment or falsification test would most strongly challenge the current research assumptions?

Initial participation is asynchronous by email. Founding Fellow work is voluntary, bounded research participation rather than an open operational or development role.
